PIXELS and COLOR SPACES

This one day workshop explains essential concepts of digital photography in simple layman's terms. Having a basic understanding of these concepts is crucial when shooting digitally as well as when editing images in the computer. This workshop is recommended for anyone new to digital photography. After this workshop you will be better able to print your own pictures or discuss options intelligently with your photofinisher. We will discuss pixels, megapixels, resizing images and differences in file formats such as JPEG, TIFF and RAW. You will also learn how color spaces, profiles and color management affects image output.
