Shooting your images in RAW can offer greater flexibility and security than the standard JPEG mode. Image files made from RAW captures can be color and density corrected over an exceptionally wide range of lighting situations, and have significantly better exposure latitude. They can also produce noticeably better results when used to make large prints. A common problem, however, is that the RAW capture correction and conversion process can be confusing and time consuming. Many photographers that shoot RAW simply convert their files to JPEGS with little or no correction. This often eliminates many of the advantages of shooting RAW, while adding to the overall work flow with little real benefit.

Not Ready To go RAW?

If you are more comfortable shooting JPEG’s, or not ready to try RAW, we can still provide some dramatic improvements to your existing JPEG images. While the correctable range and exposure latitude of JPEG's is not as generous as RAW, many event or portrait situations may be more appropriate for the simpler work flow. We will also store your enhanced files for up to one year on our servers at no additional cost.

An additional advantage of having us correct your RAW or JPEG images is that the corrected files will qualify for our economical “Ready-to-Print” option when your order is created and submitted through your Preview Gallery site or Presentation Gold PC software.  The corrected files are also ideal for creating  beautiful composite album pages.
